GSDRC mid-term review

DFID completed its mid-term review of the GSDRC in december 2007. The review team found that the GSDRC is an essential "just-in-time" knowledge and research dissemination service and noted high satisfaction levels among users both inside and outside DFID. The review also recommended some improvements and new directions for the resource centre to be implemented over the next few months. These include focusing more on serving users outside DFID, making more research and consultancy reports publicly available, strengthening connections with other resource centres and especially with Southern partners, reviewing procedures for producing topic guides, and making several improvements to our consultancy service.
